How to turn kids’ art into real-sized postage stamps

The postage stamp template filled in with a drawing of a gold crown against a red background and an arrow showing a smaller version of this design on an envelope.

A bonus DIY craft project! If you would like to turn your child or grandchild’s design into an actual-sized postage stamp, print the activity page at 100% scale before it is used. Also, remember that colouring pencils and felt tip pens that are used need to be strong enough to show up at a smaller scale.

Once your child or grandchild has completed his or her design, you can turn the design into a real-sized postage stamp by following these guidelines:

The miniature postage stamps can then be used in an art display, postal play / post office role play or even saved in a DIY stamp book!

However you choose to use this postage stamp template, we hope that you and your child or grandchild have lots of fun using it! For more free printables, as well as more crafts, activities and ideas, subscribe to our blog at Many Joyful Things and follow us on social media.
